What kid out there doesn’t love dressing up in a Halloween costume and receiving lots of candy! Halloween is one of the two greatest holidays every year for children, and a great children’s costume can really give them a night to remember. Fortunately, today we have several nice online stores in which we can find professional looking costumes for our kids. I have found a number of good places over the years, but right now the one that I like a lot is BuyCostumes.com.  I’ve found that they have the largest selection at good prices. And there are several others I’ve pointed out at various places here on the site.

Let’s look at some of the children’s Halloween costumes which are expected to be big hits this year. Lets begin with the really young. These days our children are never too young to get started with the fun and we have found some ultra cute costumes for infants and toddlers that I think are so much fun.

Lil Lion Infant

Lil Lion Infant/Toddler

The Lil Lion Infant-Toddler is bound to be a big hit with everyone. Your young one will certainly be the center of attention and they will get their Halloween celebrating career off to a great start! This ,super cute Lion outfit has a velour zippered bodysuit that is completely lined, and has a snap leg closure to make diaper changing easy. It also has an attached tail with a bow, and slip on booties. The hood has ears and my favorite part is the beautiful plush lions mane. This is certain to be one for the photo album!

I’ve seen it available in sizes Infant (6-12 mo), Infant (12-18 mo), and Toddler (18-2T)

Pink Butterfly Fairy

Pink Butterfly Fairy

Now fairy costumes are a universal favorite every year. Little girls love to dress up as fairies because fairies are magical beings and are always seen as helpful and good. This Pink Butterfly Fairy outfit includes a pink satin dress with ruffled skirt and green fairy accents with pink wings. And don’t forget to get the magic wand to go with the outfit, and your young lady will be thrilled all night.

Child X-Small (2-4), Small (4-6), Medium (8-10)

I have a special page on my site where you can  see a lot more costumes for infants and toddlers. Now when kids get a little bit older, we get into an entirely different set of costumes. By this age they really have a better sense of what they want to be. And I even found a great place that has a large selection of costumes for the Tween and Teen years. Here are a couple more Halloween costumes for children who are older than toddlers.

Transformers Bumblebee 3-D

Transformers Bumblebee 3-D

Whether it’s a robot or a Camaro, this Transformers Bumblebee autobot is ready to go. I love this costume and young boys love wearing it–it has that cool 3-D look. The outfit is a black and yellow and gray jumpsuit, and the 3-D armor gives it the appearance of having actual robot parts. And to add to it is a robot half mask that completes the look.
This is one of this years hot costumes and is an officially licensed Transformers product.

Sizes, Child: Small, Medium, and Large

And don’t forget that you can pick up various accessories to go with these costumes or with those you make yourselves.Check the categories listed on the right to find more.  Halloween is a wonderful, magical time for children. There is really nothing else quite like it. Children LOVE to play dress up–it’s certainly one of their favorite activities. And for one day or night of the year, they not only get to dress up, but they get to see everyone else dressed up as well. The idea of people not knowing who you are and being able to surprise people can put big smiles on their faces. And of course there is the candy thing!  That certainly ads to the fun.  But having a great costume, especially if they helped to pick it out,  makes for one of the most enjoyable times of the year!  And don’t forget about your own costume. There are plenty of pretty awesome costumes for adults available as well. Have fun!!
